The Craftsman house shell is complete

Our little one turns 9 months old today! Even though these past 9 months have been exhausting, it’s been an amazing journey. We both were naive thinking we would be able to bring our son next door to nap while we work together for an hour or two. We tried it a few times, but it didn’t work out! So, realistically I’ve been staying home with the little one during this project, and Jeff basically built the entire shell, by himself, these past 3 months.

The mild weather we’ve been having in November and December has definitely allowed for more outside work than we had ever expected. The shingled roof was just finished yesterday, and the garage door should be installed by next week. As long as the snow holds off, we expect to side the building within the next two weeks, which would complete the exterior. Pictures to follow…

Building will be put on hold for the month of January while we complete a geothermal system for a camp in the Adirondack park. Check back in February for progress!

Are you no longer building tiny homes?

We are a custom home builder, so we will build anything our customers ask for! It seems as though the tiny house movement has come to a halt; we haven’t had many inquiries on tiny homes.
